Thank you for choosing Helix Source. All products are sold for Research Use Only (RUO) — not for human or animal consumption, diagnostic, therapeutic, or household use. We ship lyophilized powders only; reconstitution and any downstream handling must be performed by qualified personnel using proper sterile technique.

1) Order Processing & Fulfillment

Processing time: Most in stock orders ship within 1 to 2 business days (Mon–Fri, excluding federal holidays). Peak periods or large orders may require additional time.

Order verification: To comply with RUO requirements, we may request end use confirmation, business or institutional details, or deny or cancel orders that do not meet compliance standards.

Backorders or preorders: If an item is backordered or made to order, we will email an estimated ship window. You may cancel prior to shipment for a full refund on unshipped items.

2) Shipping Methods & Delivery Estimates

We ship via USPS.

Transit times shown at checkout are carrier estimates and exclude our processing time. Weather and carrier disruptions may extend delivery.

PO Boxes or APO or FPO: Some services require a physical address; if your selected method cannot deliver to a PO or APO or FPO, we will contact you to adjust the method.

3) Tracking & Delivery

You will receive a shipment confirmation email with a tracking link when your order ships.

Signature on delivery: We may require a signature for high value or sensitive shipments at our discretion.

Risk of loss: Title and risk of loss transfer upon carrier acceptance at our shipping point.

4) Temperature & Handling Notes

Products are supplied as lyophilized powders. Unless otherwise stated on the product page, cold chain is not required for transit.

Any reconstitution and storage conditions (for example sterile water, buffers, aliquoting, temperature) are the responsibility of the purchasing laboratory and must follow appropriate SOPs.

5) Domestic Shipping

We only cater to customers located in the United States. Carrier options and rates appear at checkout. Taxes may be collected where required by law.

We do not ship internationally. Orders placed with non U.S. addresses will be cancelled and refunded.

6) Address Issues, Undeliverable, & Refused Shipments

Please verify your shipping address at checkout. We are not responsible for delays or losses due to incomplete or incorrect addresses.

Undeliverable or refused packages returned to us will be processed as follows: original shipping charges are non refundable; reshipment requires payment of new shipping charges.

7) Lost, Delayed, or Damaged in Transit

If tracking shows “delivered” but you cannot locate the package, check with household members, neighbors, and your local carrier office first.

Damage or shortage claims must be reported to within 2 business days of delivery, with your order number and clear photos of the packaging and contents. We will assist with a carrier claim, and when appropriate arrange a replacement.

Carrier investigations may require 7 to 14 business days. Resolutions depend on carrier findings and available stock.

8) Changes & Cancellations

Contact us immediately at or (855) 677-4736 with your order number for address corrections or cancellations. We cannot reroute or cancel once a shipment has been released to the carrier.

9) Compliance Statements (RUO)

All products are labeled and sold for Research Use Only and are not intended for human or animal consumption or diagnostic or therapeutic use.

We do not provide protocols, reagents, or instructions to research or use these products beyond vendor supplied RUO documentation or Certificates of Analysis (COA) where available.

Orders that in our judgment do not meet RUO compliance may be cancelled and refunded.

10) Returns & Refunds

Shipping charges are non refundable unless the return is due to a verified error on our part. For full details, please see our Returns & Refunds Policy.

11) Holidays & Closures

We observe major U.S. federal holidays. Orders placed during closures will be processed on the next business day.
